1.1 The privacy policy applies when Parently provides services and products in connection with rentals, service matters and other contact with Parently, such as website visits. The privacy policy also applies to the processing of personal data that takes place within the framework of holding an account with Parently ("Account Holder").

2. Personal data controller
Parently is the personal data controller for Parently's processing of your personal data and is responsible for such processing taking place in accordance with applicable legislation. Parently is also the personal data controller for the processing of personal data within the framework of holding an account with Parently.

Parently also collects information about you while you are an Account Holder within the framework of your account holding, such as your order history, how you interact with Parently's website, which offers you were interested in by reading an email or clicking on a link. Parently also processes data that Parently is given access to from time to time through your account with Parently. As an Account Holder, you can update your information at any time.
3.4 We also collect and update your address details via third party address update services.

4.1 For you who are a customer of Parently
The personal data that Parently collects and processes about you as a customer who completes an order and uses our support services are:

5. Why do we process data about you?
5.1 For you who are a customer of Parently
Parently processes your personal data for various purposes. Mainly, Parently processes your personal data for the purpose of:
- Fulfill our obligations to you as a customer, such as fulfilling rent, invoicing and providing support;
- Provide general customer care and customer service, such as to answer questions and correct incorrect information;
- Provide information and target marketing, by post, e-mail, SMS/MMS and telephone regarding Parently's and selected partners' goods and services;
- Manage the customer relationship and provide our services;
- Provide you with relevant information and customized offers in newsletters and on the web;
- Assess which payment methods we can offer you, for example through credit checks;
- Improve our customer offering, for example development of services, products and features;
- Prevent fraud and perform risk management; and
- Comply with applicable legislation, such as accounting laws.
The data can also form the basis for market and customer analyses, market research, statistics, business follow-up and business and method development related to orders for goods and services.
5.2 For you who are the Account Holder
In addition to the list above, Parently also processes personal data about Account Holders for the purpose of:
- Administer account holdings;
- Give you the opportunity to use the benefits of having an account, such as the ability to save favorites, pre-filled information, more payment options, smoother handling of cases and complaints and the ability to manage multiple addresses;
- Provide special offers;
- Enable communication with you as an Account Holder via mail, e-mail, telephone or SMS/MMS; and
- Enable personal offers, marketing and event invitations via phone, post, e-mail and SMS/MMS.
6. The legal grounds for our processing of your personal data
6.1 Parently bases the processing of your personal data on a number of legal grounds. These are described in this section.
6.2 We process, among other things, your personal data in order to be able to fulfill the agreement with you as a customer or as an Account Holder, such as to carry out bookings, rent and to be able to fulfill our obligations towards you as an Account Holder, such as simplified administration and order history.
6.3 Part of the processing of personal data that we carry out is based on a so-called balancing of interests. This applies, for example, to the processing we carry out in order to be able to send you offers about our goods and services, your behavior on our website, your interaction with Parently, as well as to make a limited segmentation of customers, e.g. based on total rental sums. Parently does not process sensitive personal data based on a balancing of interests.
6.4 In some cases, Parently may have a legal obligation to process your personal data. This applies, for example, to the processing of personal data that we carry out in order to fulfill the requirements of the Accounting Act.
9. How long do we store data about you?
9.1 Your personal data is only saved as long as there is a need to save it to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
9.2 Parently saves information about customers for a maximum of 24 Months after the customer last completed an order or otherwise interacted with Parently. The data will then be deleted.
9.3 Parently saves information about the Account Holder as long as the Account Holder has a Parently account.
9.4 Parently may save data longer if necessary to comply with legal requirements or to protect Parently's legal interests, e.g. if there is an ongoing legal process.
10. To whom do we disclose personal data?
10.1 Parently may disclose your data to third parties, such as to collaboration partners and providers of IT services and card and communication services. Parently may also disclose your information to companies that provide address update services to ensure that we have the correct address information for you. Parently takes all appropriate legal, technical and organizational measures to ensure that your personal data is handled securely and with an adequate level of protection when transferred to or shared with such third parties.

10.2 Personal data may also be disclosed by Parently if it is necessary to comply with applicable legal requirements or requirements from authorities, to safeguard Parently's legal interests or to detect, prevent or draw attention to fraud and other security or technical problems.
10.3 We will not sell your personal data to third parties unless we have your permission to do so.
11. The protection of your personal data
You should always be able to feel safe when you provide us with your personal data. Parently has therefore taken the necessary security measures to protect your personal data against improper access, alteration and deletion. For example, all information about customers and Account Holders is saved in a database that is protected by authorization control and a firewall.
12. Your rights
13.1 Parently is responsible for your personal data being processed in accordance with current legislation.
13.2 Parently will, at your request or on its own initiative, correct, de-identify, delete or supplement information that is found to be incorrect, incomplete or misleading.
13.3 Rights
- Access to your personal data/register extracts. This means that you have the right to request a register extract of the processing we carry out regarding your personal data. You also have the right to receive a copy of the personal data being processed. You have the right to receive, free of charge, a register extract from which personal data is registered about you, the purposes of the processing and to which recipients the data has been or is to be disclosed. However, Parently has the right to charge a fee or refuse to comply with the request if the request is clearly unfounded or unreasonable. You also have the right to receive information in the register extract about where the data has been taken from if the personal data has not been collected from you, the existence of automated decision-making (including profiling) as well as the anticipated period during which the data will be stored or the criteria used to determine this period. You also have the right to receive information about your other rights specified in this point in the register extract.
- Correction of your personal data. You have the right to have incorrect personal data corrected. At your request, we will correct the incorrect or incomplete data we process about you as quickly as possible.
- Deletion of your personal data. This means that in some cases you have the right to request that your personal data be deleted. However, there may be legal requirements that we may not immediately delete your personal data in, for example, accounting and tax legislation. We may also need to retain data to establish, assert or defend legal claims. We will then end the processing carried out for other purposes.
- Limitation of treatment. This means that your personal data is marked so that it may only be processed for certain limited purposes. 13.5 If you do not want us to process your personal data for direct marketing, you always have the right to object to such processing by sending an email to hej@parently.se. Once we have received your objection, we will stop processing the personal data for such marketing purposes.
13.6 You have the right to submit any complaints regarding the processing of your personal data to the Data Inspectorate.
14. Cookies
When you visit our website, we use cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the visitor's computer and that can be used to follow what the visitor does on the website. There are two main types of cookies:

Threatening
We use Hotjar to analyze our website's content and functionality. The purpose is to improve the website for users. Hotjar collects information about visitor behavior through clicks, which pages are visited and which segments of our website are most interesting.
