"The idea is brilliant,
I really see the need!"
That is the summary of our participation in Draknästet, which was broadcast on SVT yesterday. See the program here on SVT play.
We failed, at the end of February, to get Sara Wimmercranz, Lena Apler, Jacob de Geer, Jonas Eriksson and Shervin Razani to join us on our journey towards simpler and more sustainable parenting. However, we are incredibly proud to have had the honor of participating in the recordings and the chance to present our idea not only to the dragons but also to the Swedish people.
What you didn't get to see in the program were the other comments we received, namely that:
4/5 dragons can imagine being a user at Parently & 3/5 can imagine investing at a later stage.
However, a great deal has happened since the recordings, among which we have secured another investment, won the Game Changer of the Year award, conquered Copenhagen as the first city outside Sweden and, not least, inspired hundreds of families to follow our journey as active users or followers on various channels, which this one.
- "We prepared for a long time and had about 50 rehearsed answers to questions that we thought might come. Some of them came. MaNew did not. But very nice comments arose from both the production team and the dragons, which unfortunately did not make it into SVT's cut of our performance," says David Knutsson.
- "We are completely convinced that our innovative business has a great future ahead of it and hope that both prospective users and future investors who saw the program will open their eyes to us," says Pehr Gårlin.
Parently today consists of a team of 6 people with an international advisory board and a board with great competence in the children's product industry, circular business systems, logistics and not least innovation.
We are really looking forward to the autumn with lots of news, new employees, investors and not least hundreds of new users.
Thanks to our partners who, together with us, make it possible for families with young children to have access to what they need - when they need it.
Sustainable. Easy. Economically
